Senior Care Assistant

Role summary

Lead shifts in a CQC Good-rated residential home and deliver person-centred care to 42 residents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead care delivery on allocated shifts across a dedicated unit
• Complete medication administration and daily care records
• Supervise and mentor HCAs and new starters
• Liaise with families, GPs, and multi-disciplinary teams

What we're looking for

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working toward)
• 2+ years of experience in residential or nursing home settings
• Strong leadership, communication, and record-keeping skills
• Enhanced DBS on the update service preferred
